What is Elements?
Elements is a flexible health insurance plan that allows you to choose the benefits you want- benefits that meet your needs and budget. Elements allows you to build the plan you need now, knowing you can change it as your circumstances and needs change. Start by picking one of our three health modules and then add any other modules that make sense for you.

Assured Access
What is Assured Access?
Group health benefits or previous plans can be lost for multiple reasons, including career changes, a long-term disability, a leave of absence, or retirement. With Assured Access, you don’t have to worry about leaving your health coverage behind when you change jobs, leave jobs, or retire.
How Does it Work?
It takes a snapshot of your health situation today and guarantees your access to a personal health plan that would cover any new medical conditions that develop after that time. If you’re concerned about the loss of your previous plans health benefits, Assured Access can provide long term security for you and for your family.
The Perks
A Full Wellness Program
Assured Access provides access to inConfidence, our full service, confidential, assistance program. inConfidence offers one-on-one counselling and support 24 hours a day, over the phone and in-person.
Cash Benefit
In the event that you or one of your eligible dependents suffers an accident resulting in accidental death or dismemberment, Assured Access will provide you with a cash benefit of up to $10,000, to be spent at your discretion.
Waive Waiting Periods
If you have other health coverage that is ending, waiting periods for health (e.g. vision care and hearing aids) and hospital benefits can be waived. If you wish to have dental benefits and had dental coverage under your group plan, the dental waiting periods can be waived as well.
Charge Premiums Against Your Income Tax Or To Your HSA
Premiums for Assured Access can be added to your other medical expenses when calculating tax credits and premiums can qualify towards your group Health Spending Account.

Guaranteed Issue
While Elements plans offer comprehensive coverage and best overall value, medical questions can disqualify some applicants. But that's no reason to give up, because there is an alternative.
The Guaranteed Issue Health Plan provides basic coverage for routine medical expenses and, with no medical underwriting, our Guaranteed Issue Health Plan covers pre-existing conditions.
The plan includes a range of health benefits and offers two options for adding drug coverage. For members planning trips out of province, there is also optional travel coverage.
